Whosoever : Mysteries
Colossians 1:24-27
Now I rejoice in my suffering for you, and I am complete in my flesh what is lacking in Christ affliction for his body, that is the church. I have become its servant, according to God’s commission that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. God wanted to make known among the gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Whosoever : Mysteries, Paul experienced persecution as he stood for the gospel of truth. Jews were offended because the gospel now includes “whosoever believes” Jesus is the Son of God, into the kingdom of God – Jews, gentile, male, female, free or salve are one in Christ Jesus. On the other hand, the gentiles were threatened because the gospel proclaims “whosoever believes” Jesus is the Son of God, may know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent. (John 17:3).
With this understanding, Paul endeavored to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering, to be conformed to His death – death to sin and life unto God. He rejoiced in his affliction because He knew greater is He that is in Him than He that is in the world: for Christ suffered once for sins; the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
Paul, looked unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Paul imitated Christ by putting to death the deeds of his flesh as he submitted to the Holy Spirit. He supply what was lacking in the body of Christ, when God worked through him to equipped the saints for the work of ministry, and edify the body of Christ to foster growth and unity in faith in the knowledge of the Son of God to the glory of God our Father.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Whosoever : Mysteries, Paul commissioned by God, professed apart from Christ, he could do nothing, His competency was from the Lord. He stand with the Lord; despite many struggles (2 Corinthians 22-33) caused other believers to take a bold stand for the Lord. The primary focus of his message was to make the glorious wealth of the mysteries of God known: in the face of Jesus Christ- meaning, whosoever believe Jesus is the Son of God has life in His name and would be reconciled to God through Christ.
He acknowledged the gift of grace given to him as a minster of the gospel, and alleged his total dependency on the effective working of God’s power in him, which enabled him to preached the unsearchable riches of Christ, which from the beginning of the ages had been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ. This revelation of God in the face of Jesus and the Kingdom of God is given to the Saints by the indwelling spirit of Christ who lives in them.

For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church For we are flesh and of his bones. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother become joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Colossians 1:28-29
We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. I labor for this, striving with his strength that works powerfully in me.
Paul proclaimed Christ, the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation. The one in whom all the fullness of the Father dwells. In Him, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sin. Paul warned the brethren of wrongful actions or thinking and taught them the gospel of truth to foster growth and unity in Christ. ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. “ (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Paul primary focus was to make disciples mature in Christ, so they in turn would make more disciples to fulfill the mandate of Christ: to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20). Paul recognized he could not accomplish the commission of God upon his life in his own effort; he had no confidence in the flesh. He totally depended on the indwelling presence of the spirit of Christ to guide and lead him in pointing others to Christ for the glory of God.
Colossians 2:1-3
For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom is hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
The Lord put the well being of the church upon Paul; and he expressed his passion for their growth and maturity in his prayers and epistles. Even though, Paul never met these believers in person, the lack of face-to-face communication with them did not diminish his care for them. He admonished them to remember the works of the Lord, remember His promises, remember His testimonies, to be encouraged. He also encouraged them to be joined together in love, the perfect bond of unity. Paul desired believers to grow into maturity; therefore, he nurtured them in his epistle to strengthen their souls, exhorting them to continue in the faith, to empowered them to grow in their understanding of God through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Jesus, the word of God in the flesh spoke and applied the knowledge of God in every aspect of His life to demonstrate the wisdom of God. He traversed the way of righteousness and established the path of justice for believers to follow suit. He, did not judge by sight of His eyes, nor did He decide by what He heard, rather He looked to Him who is just and true, merciful and righteous in all His ways.
